1.  Thought I’d try out my latest sparkly purchase form Topshop.

2. Loving my new jacket. So worth the pennies.

3.  Cupcake hearts. 

4. Taped this picture of Doutzen Kroes to my fridge to remind me to stop opening the door! So far its working a treat!

5. Glitter fade nails.

6. My two fave things: Costa & honey.

7. Finally got my hands on this Real Techniques silicone liner brush. Applies my gel liner beautifully.

8. Home made chicken kievs! I made these and didn’t give anyone food poisoning! Top chef.

9. Angel Inn tea time with Papa Smith.

10. Too much love for fluffy jumpers at the moment. Miss Selfridge.

1. I’ve worn this jumper so much over the winter months. Well worth the £££

2. Topshop nails in Pie In The Sky.

3. Books, Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld & The Courage Tree by Diane Chamberlain.

4. Wahh this was the last of my gold Magpie polish, it can’t be found at all now in Topshop 😦

5. Fave black gel eyeliner. Great price and great product.

6. Made scones. Swear its the only thing I know how to make/bake.

7. New Costa obsession: Mocha Latte.

8. After Italian food Indian has to be my next love. I made this chicken korma. Proud.

9. Fizzy cola bottles. A childhood fave I’ve never grown out of.

10. My nails are currently wearing this outfit. Nails Inc in Victoria with daisy nail art.

11. Topshop lipstick in Straight Ace.

12. Pretty pastel pink crop jumper from Topshop.

1. Coveting this iridescent Topshop clutch. 

2. Love a trip to the hair dressers. Bouncy curls.

3. Heard lots of good things about Beauty Blenders so thought I’d give them a try.

4. Was excited at the arrival of my ASOS bobble hat. This will keep my ears toasty warm this winter.

5. Rimmel eyeshadow primer. 

6.Company Magazine getting all glittery for December.

7. Loving this lip colour in Company’s beauty feature.

8. At 25 years of age is Macaroni Cheese still an acceptable dinner choice? Oh well.

9. Monsoon notebook. Perfect present for a glitterbug.

10. Feeling all Christmassy seeing decoration everywhere. 

11. Nails. Spent ages fishing stars out of a glitter nail polish bottle. 

12. Screw you Starbucks! Costa Christmas cups.

1. Cheers! A nice cool Ginger Ale. Lunching with Mamma Smith, it would be rude not too!

2. Couldn’t resist these MAC purchases. Been wanting these two products for a while, Paint Pot in Chilled on Ice and a 266 angled brush.

3. Sleek blusher in Rose Gold. Such a pretty product. I have been using this blush non stop since buying. 

4. I already own a Sleek eye shadow palette in Au Naturel and use it a lot. The new one in this pic is called Storm. Pigmented, easy to blend with a pocket friendly price. Winner. Doncaster Superdrug please start stocking Sleek!

5. This week I was very impressed when the new A/W issue of ASOS Magazine fell through the letter box. A fabulous little read.

6. My friend Terri and I were bonding until this happened. I’m team Costa, Terri team Starbucks. We can no longer be friends! 

7. Spent a lovely day this week with my two nephews, a trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park then bowling, I even won a game!

8. Topshop playsuit. Possible outfit for my birthday celebrations next weekend. 

9. Nails. Gold glitter bases. Using Topshop and Models Own polishes. 

10. Anyone else on Orange/EE that has trouble with their service? My iPhone quite regularly says No Service. Then all these zeros happen. Sort it out Orange!!

Instagram Diary & A Quick Note…

Hi guys!

It’s been a while hasn’t it? Lately the time seems to have run away from me and whenever I’ve sat down to write a post I’ve either hit a literary wall (literary, not literal, ouch!) or I have been distracted by something else. I know, bad blogger. But I am happy to report that I’m working on a post that should be up at some point during the week. 

Also, this Instagram Diary contains pics from the last two weeks as I tried to post up last Sunday but for some reason my WordPress account was acting all kinds of hell crazy and barred me from posting on my own blog. Rude. 

Anyway, enjoy and keep your eye on the fresh post popping up on here soon. 

1. MAC Candy Yum Yum. Have been coveting this for WEEKS and had to order online in the end. £14. 

2. Had my hair did. If only it would look like that without me having to do anything.

3. New Ralph Lauren specs. It’s scandalous that it costs an absolute fortune to not be blind.

4. Longest plate ever. Surely you get shorter runways.

5. So I figure it’s like this: there are 365 days in a year and in this country only about 9 of them will be sunny so you have to eat the McFlurries while you can.

6. Since the glasses cost a small fortune I better wear this pair.

7. Stop the press! A latte that wasn’t from Costa that I actually enjoyed. Shock face :-O 

8. In my opinion stupidly expensive for a lipstick but it had to be done at least once. Estee Lauder Crystal Honey.

9. New Jumper. Wallis.

10. Bunnies! Sunny day at Clumber Park.

11. Hoop earrings. River Island. I checked that I didn’t look like Tina McIntyre or a big fat gypsy bride before purchasing. 

12. Phone’s new outfit.

13. Oh hi pink lips! 

14. I have discovered the Illamasqua counter in Meadowhall. God help us all, but mostly me. 

15. Bright leopard print nails. Combination of Topshop, Illamasqua, Essie & Models Own polishes.

Instagram Diary

 

1. ASOS delivery containing three potential dresses for a wedding this summer. Will Instagram a pic of the final outfit once I have it all together.

2. Old fashioned sweet shop, had all the old faves: Kola Cubes, Millions, Poppets, Push Pops, Sherbet Dips the lot!

3. Parkin cake. I know its supposed to be a winter thing but I love it soo much. Fave cake by far, I warm it up in the microwave!

4. The nails I’m sporting at the mo. Topshop polish with a pink Nails Inc glitter fade and loose glitter sprinkled over the top.

5. Surprising for me since I’m usually a Topshop girl but I got these cute vest tops and denim shorts from H&M.

6. New shoes from New Look to wear with my summer wedding outfit, apparently wearing my beloved boots wouldn’t be acceptable!

7. Jazzels! 

8. Strawberry mocktail thing at the indian. Far too sweet for me, had about three sips and made my sister drink the rest! I’ll stick to my water from now on.

9. Really like these new Topshop shadows. This one is Woodland Walk.

10. Feeling really poorly today so ice cream was in order. I know it must be bad when ice cream fails to make me feel better.

1. New Topshop polishes. A simple white (Spilled Milk) and a new glitter they got in this week (Magpie.)

2. Chocolate and stars all in the same bag?! Perfect!

3. Couldn’t resist this Fashion book bible. Total bargain, the history of fashion and costume all in one place with some beautiful pictures to accompany it.

4. Shiny pink windmill to twirl in the breeze = happy garden 🙂

5. Chocolate and honeycomb ice cream sundae. Cheeky treat after lunch with a friend. Sooo nice!

6. Wasn’t sure what I’d make of this Barry M Gelly shade in Greenberry but I LOVE it! So bright and summery, I teamed it with a glittery accent nail in my new Topshop Magpie polish.

7. Can’t be arced to make tea? Get a pizza in! Chicken BBQ is a fave.

8. I love a MAC purchase, been after these two for ages. Woodwinked eyeshadow and Creme Cup lipstick.

9. Katsu Curry lunch at Rice with Mamma Smith.

10. Todays Make up face.

Instagram Diary

 

1. The nails I painted with my Barry M Gelly nail paint (in the colour Papaya) and nail art glitter. Just to report, the glitter went EVERYWHERE. I spent the majority of my time trying to get the excess glitter back into the bottle.

2. Spring has finally sprung this week thanks to the lovely sunny weather. I hope you’ve seen the sun wherever you are, long may it continue!

3. Topshop Lips in Macaroon. I’ve been wanting a coral lip colour for spring/summer and this is perfect for me. More on the pinky side than the orange. 

4.Costa belgian chocolate and praline tart. Apparently these are new so I just had to try them out. 

5. Treated myself to some new perfume. Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine. Smells divine!

6. Models Own Artstix nail beads in Pink Neon Fizz. Available in the Bottle Shop, on the website and in Boots stores.

7. Lunch out, Hunters Chicken and chunky seasoned chips. Delish.

8. Giant Bakewell Tart. Bigger is better.

9. Much needed Costa.

10. Couldn’t wait to try out the nail beads. These nails are entirely Models Own. Pink Lady & Snow White polishes with the accent nail covered in the Pink Fizz beads. I love. 

11. That painful moment you learn an important lesson; shaving your legs is a dangerous business. Ladies can I get an ‘Mmhmmm’? 

12. What I wore today to a friends baby’s christening. Topshop dress and blazer (& shoes) and an ASOS belt.

Instagram Diary: Week In Pictures

 

1. This week I gave my blog header a bit of a re-vamp and being the indecisive sort I couldn’t decide between these two designs. I put it to a vote on Twitter & Instagram and the one that you see presiding over my blog won (obvs!) I haven’t discarded the starry one, you will probably see it at the top of my posts in the future.

2. Topshop blazer. I have been looking for a new blazer for yonks as my current one was starting to look a bit worn, and this one seemed to fit the bill. Well worth the £40 as you can team blazers with everything. Total wardrobe staple.

3. Ok I didn’t necessarily need this dress but look at it. It’s so pretty!

4. My pretty unnecessary dress pattern in more detail.

5. This Costa latte & Bakewell combo was much needed.

6. Nail polish purchases. Topshop in Eyes Of Steel, Topshop (again) in Straight Laced and Rimmel in Purple Reign.

7. Books. I can never say no to books. Can’t wait to get stuck into these two. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green & The Uninvited Guests by Sadie Jones.

8. Milkybar yoghurts. ❤

9. This weeks leopard nail design curtesy of my new polishes.

10. Regular sprinkle cupcake…

11. … was in fact a red velvet sprinkle cupcake. Sometimes life just shines on you, y’know?

12. Every time I wear my Pandora bracelet I cant help but love my little Big Ben.

13. Now I know it’s a bit previous but I couldn’t walk away from these Topshop sunglasses. So Sun, could you break the habit of a lifetime and shine this summer? Thanks.

14. I don’t think I have enough stars. That old familiar urge for a new tattoo is back.

1. Glitter fade nails. Really impressed with this polish, chip free after a week and still going strong. Essie Fiji.

2. Loving this Topshop glitter in Bowl Me Over, large and small particles of pink, purple and silver glitter.

3. Favourite KitKat Chunky by far is this hazelnut bad boy.

4. Who could resist these mini Cherry Bakewells? Soooo cuuuuute! 

5. Brrr it got a bit cold this week. As pretty as it is can this please be the last of the snow now? 

6. Sister brought me a valentine’s cupcake. In return I brought her nothing. Oops.

7. I haven’t consumed enough vanilla lattes this week. Disappointed.

9. Baking scones with Mamma Smith. They smelt good in the oven, and tasted great! Now I want a scone…

10. My fingernails can hardly wait for these new Models Own neon polishes. Available online from 20th March and in Boots stores from 22nd. Hurry up March!

11. I love Simple skincare. With super sensitive skin I have to be careful with what I use but I wanted to start taking better care of my skin. I brought the Simple cleansing lotion, facial toner and moisturiser. So far so good. And even better, right now in Boots, Simple skin care is on a three for two promotion 🙂

12. The ‘I slept in plaits’ hair. I love this method of curling your hair as no straighteners or heat stylers are needed, this equals happy, healthy hair!
