3. Books, Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld & The Courage Tree by Diane Chamberlain.

4. Wahh this was the last of my gold Magpie polish, it can’t be found at all now in Topshop 😦

5. Fave black gel eyeliner. Great price and great product.

6. Made scones. Swear its the only thing I know how to make/bake.

7. New Costa obsession: Mocha Latte.

8. After Italian food Indian has to be my next love. I made this chicken korma. Proud.

9. Fizzy cola bottles. A childhood fave I’ve never grown out of.

10. My nails are currently wearing this outfit. Nails Inc in Victoria with daisy nail art.

11. Topshop lipstick in Straight Ace.

12. Pretty pastel pink crop jumper from Topshop.

Instagram Diary…

1. First attempt at Red Velvet Cupcakes…

2. They turned out pretty good! With a few subtle changes they will be even better next time.

3. Thanks to everyone that recommended Seche Vite top coat over on Twitter. The one that I had been using previously was rubbish!

5. This week on the blog I reviewed M L Stedman’s The Light Between Oceans. If you’re looking for a new book to read now the nights are drawing in read all about it here. 

6. Home baked scones fresh for a friends visit.

7. Glittered snowflakes over Big Ben. London inside a snowglobe.

8. Decided to give this Rimmel brow pencil a go in Dark Brown. Such a bargain compared to the Eylure one I usually use.

9. Hi pretty autumnal nails. Its been too long. So pleased I can finally paint my nails again.

Instagram Diary

 

1. Mocha Latte, was the perfect warmer on a cold day.

2. Finally got the hang of drying my hair with my new brush, even Audrey looks impressed in the background.

3. Top, Topshop, £35.

4. Topshop Brow Pencil in Spiked. Think these are new, never seen them before?

5. Been making cookies. Think I like the dough more than the finished product!

6. Picked up these two Barry M Gelly nail paints, Watermelon and Papaya. There’s a 3 for 2 promotion on all cosmetics in Boots at the min!

7. How cute and sparkly are these nail art glitters? I picked these up in Topshop, £2.50. Can’t wait to try these.

8. Cajun chips. Love.

9. Baking scones. Very British.

10. This weekend saw the first sunglasses day of the year. Happy days!

11. Took a trip to the seaside with Papa Smith and my sister. They went for the walk, I pretty much went for the donuts. The lady asked if I wanted sugar on them, I asked her if the Pope was Catholic?

Instagram Diary

First of all let me apologise for not posting in a while. These past few weeks have been a little weird and I just haven’t had the opportunity to sit quiet and write a proper post. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon and I’ll be able to blog ASAP.

1. Model of the moment Cara Delevigne. Bit of a debate on my Facebook, no one seems to think she’s pretty but I wouldn’t mind looking like her! Thoughts?

2. ASOS package that cost £25. Bargain.

3. Costa.

4. Ferrero in little egg form. Bliss.

5. I’m no cook or anything but can I just say, I make damn fine scones.

6. Had my eye on these Topshop crayons for a while. This particular one is called Mystery.

7. Started using this Nivea primer. So far so good.

8. Multi coloured fade nails. Wasn’t to sure about these at first but they grew on me.

9. You go on a bit of a journey when you read The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. A touching story and a nice easy read.

10. Book binge. New Jodi Picoult, The Storyteller. I’m sure once I’ve read this I will be posting about it in a Jemm Frances Reads post.

11. An emotional trip to the hairdressers resulted in four inches being chopped off my hair. I want my long gypsy hair back!

12. Me and the best friend drove round the block twice so the milage would read 23456. We then performed an emergency stop to take a picture as proof. Sometimes we’re just a little bit strange.

13. Bunnies. Well ’tis the season and all that.

14. Confetti nails. Love these, but by jesus the glitter takes for-freaking-ever to dry!

15. Got myself in the kitchen and made Lasagne for tea. The best part was I didn’t even food poison anyone. Winner.

Instagram Diary: Week In Pictures

 

1. Glitter fade nails. Really impressed with this polish, chip free after a week and still going strong. Essie Fiji.

2. Loving this Topshop glitter in Bowl Me Over, large and small particles of pink, purple and silver glitter.

3. Favourite KitKat Chunky by far is this hazelnut bad boy.

4. Who could resist these mini Cherry Bakewells? Soooo cuuuuute! 

5. Brrr it got a bit cold this week. As pretty as it is can this please be the last of the snow now? 

6. Sister brought me a valentine’s cupcake. In return I brought her nothing. Oops.

7. I haven’t consumed enough vanilla lattes this week. Disappointed.

8. For a little pick-me-up read my ’15 Feel Good Things’ post

9. Baking scones with Mamma Smith. They smelt good in the oven, and tasted great! Now I want a scone…

10. My fingernails can hardly wait for these new Models Own neon polishes. Available online from 20th March and in Boots stores from 22nd. Hurry up March!

11. I love Simple skincare. With super sensitive skin I have to be careful with what I use but I wanted to start taking better care of my skin. I brought the Simple cleansing lotion, facial toner and moisturiser. So far so good. And even better, right now in Boots, Simple skin care is on a three for two promotion 🙂

12. The ‘I slept in plaits’ hair. I love this method of curling your hair as no straighteners or heat stylers are needed, this equals happy, healthy hair!
